Meet Sue Lorimer...

Sue is currently Director of Finance at Alder Hey Children's NHS Foundation Trust having taken up post in February 2009. Sue qualified as an accountant in 1988 and gained associate membership of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 1991. She has been an NHS Finance Director since 1990 and has worked in a variety of healthcare organisations in Merseyside including Liverpool Women's Hospital, Mersey Ambulance Service and Clatterbridge Centre for Oncology. She is an active member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and recently joined its Board as a trustee and director.

Sue was born in Liverpool and attended Wade Deacon Girls' Grammar School in Widnes. She lives in Wirral with her partner, John and her two cats.
